Term: 6 years

Question:What can be done to keep our children enrolled in the Oberlin Public Schools?

VOTE FOR ONE

Thomas A. Januzzi

Response: Fair and impartial administration of justice is accomplished by decisions the Judge makes, the manner in which they are made and the manner in which litigants, witnesses, attorneys and other participants are treated. Proper facilities and staff are also essential. In the next term we will build upon changes made during the past term. These changes include: 1. Website with information including public access to docket entries and information for witnesses, attorneys, jurors and other participants. 2. Increased security, including a metal detector and additional security officers. 3. Formation and development of Probation Department. 4. Implementation of Release Program for certain accused repeat offenders.  5. Requiring prosecutors to maintain files separate from court files and separating duties from prosecutorial functions and court functions. 6. Video hearings enhancing security and cost savings for prisoner transport. We will continue to be proactive in providing proper facilities and staff for fair and impartial administration of justice.
