The League of Women Voters is a national non-partisan organization which encourages informed and active citizen participation in government; it neither supports nor opposes any political party or candidate.

Membership:  Any citizen at least 18 years of age may become a Voting Member of the League of Women Voters.  Those who belong to the LWV, United States; and to the LWV, Ohio; and who live in the Oberlin area are members of the LWVOA.  Men and women are equally welcome and encouraged to join.  Students may also join as Associate Members.

Board meetings are held the third Thursday of each month at 4:30 p.m. in the Crafts Room of the Oberlin Public Library.  Any member is welcome to attend
