The League of Women Voters (http://lwv.org) is a national non-partisan organization which encourages informed and active citizen participation in government; it neither supports nor opposes any political party or candidate.

Membership:  Any citizen at least 18 years of age may become a Voting Member of the League of Women Voters.  Those who join through the national LWV organization of the state League and who live in the Oberlin area are considered members of LWV Oberlin Area.   Paying membership dues directly to LWVOA supports our local work, and makes you a member of both the state and national organizations.  Men and women are equally welcome and encouraged to join.  Students may also join as Associate Members.
